NOTE: As of Friday, January 24, 2020, The issue described below has been resolved and Stanford affiliates are able to login with their Stanford account without having to do the additional steps on the cluster computers to use Adobe Creative Cloud. As previously advised, if Stanford affiliates have any issues logging in to an Adobe Creative Cloud software on a cluster computer with their Stanford account, please ask the user to create a free Adobe ID and login with that account instead.

VPTL supports several computer workstations that include advanced media software including the Adobe Creative Cloud. You can see a list of these machines at: https://thehub.stanford.edu/available-software
There is now an additional step to logging in with your Stanford email address to access the Adobe Creative Cloud software on the VPTL media computers: After you login with your Stanford email and SUNet ID password, you will need to click on the 3 horizontal line slide out menu (aka the "hamburger menu") and click on the “Sign in” item . If there are any issues accessing the software with your Stanford account, please create a personal free Adobe Creative Cloud account to use the software. https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/create-update-adobe-id.html
See the animation linked below that demonstrates what you will need to do to access Adobe Creative Cloud products on VPTL workstations. We understand this is not an optimal user experience and are investigating with the software licensing group on what can be done.
If there are any questions please inquire with the Tech Desk at the Lathrop Learning Hub.
