To request paper for your housing front desk:
- Submit a request at pts.stanford.edu with a subject such as “Paper for Stern HFD”; The body of the message should say something like “Hi I’m the RA for Zapata and the Stern front desk has opened its last box of paper. Thanks!”. You will get an automated confirmation of the request.
- Once a human receives the request, you *and* the front desk will get a reply acknowledging the request and an ETA for that shipment.
- Once the paper arrives at the front desk, someone from the housing front desk will reply to that message letting you know the shipment has arrived.
Note: Some front desks prefer to keep all printer paper stored centrally so that staff from any house can pick some up. Other front desks prefer staff to come and pick up the paper as soon as it has arrived and store it elsewhere. Please consult your Front Desk as to which process is preferred. If your front desk prefers you to remove the paper from the front desk area, and you do not have a plan on how to store that paper, please reach out to the PTS team for advice and recommendations.
