At 9am on Saturday, February 20th, the UIT Infrastructure Team will be updating the eduroam Security Certificate that downloads to your device when you connect to eduroam in student residence locations on campus. This update has already occurred in academic buildings and the School of Medicine area.
This initiative will enable most Stanford users of eduroam to authenticate with Cardinal Key as well as, or in place of, inputting a username and password. It will also help UIT prepare for other future enhancements.
If you receive a prompt to install/trust/accept a new security certificate when you connect to eduroam wireless network, please choose 'Ok' or 'Trust' or 'Install' or 'Accept' rather than 'No' or 'Deny' or 'Don't accept'.
If you have trouble connecting to eduroam after this change, please forget/remove/delete the eduroam wireless network from your device and then reconnect:
